Announcements and Information

As a Harper Creek Family, we are working diligently to make sure that all of our students have the tools they need to have a successful 2020-2021 school year. Please see the list of classroom supplies by grade level. There is now a section of suggested donations for the building, we are all in this together and want to make sure that all Sonoma students and classrooms have what they need. As always we appreciate your support from home.

Per the wording on page 16 of the Elementary Handbook-

“We consider many factors when forming classes for the coming year: learning style of students, balance of boys/girls, student dynamics, mixed academic ability of students, and class size/student numbers. Requests will be considered based on the student’s academic/learning needs, not for a specific teacher.”

Hello Sonoma Parent and Guardians,

As we all adjust to the reality of our current world, it's important to consider the thoughts and feelings that a child might have while going through a time that seems uncertain and confusing.  The people at Starr Commonwealth have put together a resource for parents to help their children navigate through difficult moments in their life.  The link to the article is below:

How to Obtain Internet Service

If your family does not have access to reliable high speed internet service, below is a resource that may help you obtain this service:

Comcast: The company is offering Internet Essentials as an affordable way for homes who receive public assistance to get online. The plan is available for about $10 per month. In addition, they are increasing speeds for all customers in response to emergency measures associated with the coronavirus, and new customers receive two months free.

Signing up is easy and fast from your mobile device, go to:

Sprint: Offering unlimited data for customers without an unlimited plan. Also offering 20GB hotspot data for capable phones.

Xfinity wifi is free during the crisis. Map of available hotspots:
