Principal
Hello! I am Cyndi Mead, Principal of Sonoma Elementary School. I came to Sonoma in the Fall of 2002 and have very much enjoyed working with the students, parents, and staff of our PreK - 4th grade building. My training for this position came from Michigan State University where I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Western Michigan University where I earned my graduate degree in Educational Leadership. As a teacher I taught 3rd grade at a school in Illinois. My husband and I have two sons and enjoy hiking, theatre, and traveling. Reading is a passion and I find bookstores to be a bittersweet business as I love them but can never get out of them without spending money.
